How will we receive our Super 8 wedding film?
Once the film is developed and scanned, I edit everything digitally. You’ll receive a high-quality version online that you can watch and share with friends and family.

What can we expect if we book Super 8 only?
The full day is filmed on Super 8 with the aim of creating a highlight film – usually around 5–6 minutes (for 2+ rolls).

Is Super 8 right for us?
Super8 gives your wedding film a nostalgic and romanticised edge as it's captured on real film. But isn’t suited to filming full ceremonies or speeches in detail – if you want lots of beautiful, intricate moments captured, and brought together into a film that reflects the character and atmosphere of your day, nothing else is quite like it.

 

Do you record sound on Super 8?
Super 8 cameras don’t record sound in-camera, so the finished film is music-led and focused on the look and atmosphere of the day. As an add-on, I can also capture ceremonies and speeches digitally and create a mixed highlight film that accompanies super8.

Can we add Super 8 to our digital video package?
Absolutely. Super 8 works beautifully alongside a full digital wedding film if you’d like both.

Does Super 8 work indoors or in cloudy weather?
Cloudy days and well-lit indoor spaces look great on Super 8. Very dark settings can be more challenging, but I’m used to working in a range of conditions.

How long does delivery take?
Processing and scanning the film can take a couple of weeks, and most highlight films are delivered within 10 weeks of the wedding day.

Do you travel for weddings?
I’m based in Wiltshire in the UK but happy to travel anywhere in the country or abroad for weddings.
